Direttore Operativo / Chief Operations Officer

Ente Certificazione Macchine – Notified Body No. 1282 and Testing Laboratory – is looking for a high-level position to join its team in Valsamoggia (BO) as Chief Operating Officer.

The COO will work closely with the CEO in the management and development of our international certification body, dealing with:

– coordination and supervision of business activities

– optimization and improvement of processes

– planning and development of new strategic targets.

REQUIREMENTS

– 3 or more years of experience in similar roles in corporate structured companies (mandatory)

Experience with notified bodies or certification bodies will be considered preferential requirement;

– Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (mandatory);

– Residence in Bologna or nearby is essential, as the activity will take place on site (mandatory);

– Graduation in law/economics, Management, Business Administration or similar field appreciated;

– Excellent knowledge of Office package and email systems.

Sales Area Manager Medical Devices – North & South America

Ente Certificazione Macchine – European Notified Body No.1282 and a world leader in the field of certification – provides medical device manufacturers around the world with the conformity assessment service to issue EU certification in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745, in order to place devices on the EU market.

With the aim to further grow our business in the Americas market, we are looking for a Sales Area Manager for the Medical Devices Division.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The perfect candidate has solid experience in the medical industry and in-depth knowledge of the US and Latam market. Relevant activities include:

– Actively manage the assigned market area through frequent on-site travel in order to develop and consolidate relationships with new potential customers

– Plan business strategies related to the sale of ECM services for the medical industry in North and South America

– Prepare periodic reports on business activities.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Needed requirements

– Professional knowledge of English (minimum level C1), second language knowledge (Spanish) preferred

– 3 or more years’ previous experience in a similar role, in the medical device industry

– In-depth knowledge of the medical market in North and South America

– Availability for frequent international travel (even for medium to long periods).

Tecnico Esperto Direttiva Macchine

Ente Certificazione Macchine – Organismo Notificato n.1282 – è alla ricerca di un Tecnico Esperto con esperienza in ambito sicurezza macchinari da inserire all’interno della propria Divisione Industria. La figura selezionata si occuperà di:

–  Attività di valutazione della conformità CE di macchinari e impianti di produzione (secondo la Direttiva 2006/42/CE);

–  Verifica della documentazione tecnica;

–  Supervisione e/o esecuzione dei test di sicurezza in conformità ai maggiori standard internazionali.

COMPETENZE E REQUISITI

–  Esperienza pluriennale in ruolo analogo

–  Laurea in ingegneria o diploma ad indirizzo elettrotecnico/meccanico/elettronico

–  Approfondita conoscenza della Direttiva Macchine 2006/42/CE e delle norme tecniche armonizzate

–  Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese

–  Eccellente conoscenza della lingua italiana

–  Disponibilità a saltuarie trasferte nazionali e internazionali.

L’attività lavorativa si svolgerà in presenza presso la sede ECM a Valsamoggia (BO), con trasferte saltuarie presso il Cliente.

Technical Specialist & Scheme Manager – In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices (IVDs)

With the aim of expand its Medical Devices Division, Ente Certificazione Macchine – Notified Body no. 1282 – is looking for a figure experienced in the field of IVD devices.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate has gained solid experience in the field of In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices (IVD) and will be responsible for certification procedures according to Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR).

Among the activities that will be carried out:

– management of certification activities for a broad international portfolio of IVD devices manufacturers;

– evaluation of technical and clinical documentation of IVD devices to assess their compliance with Regulation (EU) 2017/746;

– evaluation of the Quality Management System requirements according to ISO 13485 standard.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Long-term experience in design, development, manufacturing or testing of IVD devices;

– University degree or post-graduate degree in medical disciplines such as biomedical engineering, biology, biotechnology or equivalent;

– Excellent knowledge of the English language (minimum B1 level skills);

– Availability for occasional national and international travel.

WORKPLACE

The work activity could be carried out remotely based within the European Union, or at the ECM office in Valsamoggia (BO), Italy.
