Ente Certificazione Macchine reports the improper use of the notified body number 1282 on the product sterile gauze and bandages of the Chinese company Shaoxing Weijan Medical supplies, visible in the picture.

ECM has never carried out EC conformity verification or authorised the use of its notified body number on the product mentioned.

Misuse of the notified body number is an action punishable by law and will be promptly reported to the relevant authorities.
